Steve Finch'spage about the Golden section starts with the material on these pages but he also has some interesting results about the Fibonacci spiral and some truly remarkable formulae of Srinivasan Ramanujan, the famous Indian mathematician who died in 1920. The formulae relate e=271828.. , pi=314159.. and Phi=16180339.. and, like me, you can just admire them if you can't understand them!
